BURBEY Daily Journal BOONEVILLE – A Prentiss County man is facing felony charges after assaulting medical personnel. According to Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar, an ambulance was called to a Booneville home Tuesday night for a suspected medical emergency. When they arrived, Allen Burbey, 49, assaulted the responding emergency medical personnel. He was arrested and charged with simple assault and his bond was set at $5,000. Under state law, assaulting an ambulance worker is a felony and is considered the same as assaulting a law enforcement officer.
