Man Bitten By Shark At Ponte Vedra Beach

A man suffered minor injuries when bitten by a shark at Ponte Vedra Beach about mid-afternoon Sunday. The victim, who wasn’t identified, was bitten about 3:30 p.m. then taken to an emergency room for treatment, according to St. Johns Fire Rescue. He told a couple on the beach that he had been wading in knee-deep water when he saw about a 3-to 4-foot shark, reported CBS 47/FOX 30 Action News Jacksonville. Teresa Stepzinski: (904) 359-4075
