The Bridgton man accused of shooting and killing another man outside his Sebago home on Saturday is scheduled to make his initial court appearance on Monday. David Pinkham, 67, is scheduled to appear in Portland District Court at 1 p.m. Monday, according to staff at the Cumberland County Jail. Pinkham was being held Sunday evening at the jail without bail on a charge of murder. Pinkham allegedly shot and killed an acquaintance, Charlie Cross, 66, of 331 Hancock Pond Road of Sebago, around noon Saturday. Maine State Police are still investigating the circumstances that led up to the shooting and do not have a motive, said Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
