In a case that drew national attention and prompted a death threat against the judge, a jury convicted a Colorado Springs man Monday of both counts in the gang rape of a 13-year-old girl, rejecting a defense based on inconsistencies in the girl's account. The guilty verdicts - which include a finding that the girl was subjected to force, as alleged - set up a potential life sentence for 21-year-old Jacolby Hasan Williams, whose attorneys argued that he wasn't in his apartment when the girl said she was pinned to a bed there and sexually assaulted by as many as five males.
