BLOOMINGBURG — A 196-year-old Dutch Reformed Church building is caught in a custody battle between the Town of Mamakating and the Bloomingburgh Restoration Foundation, with the town pushing the foundation to move out so it can sell the building to a Pentecostal church.Mamakating Supervisor Bill Herrmann sent Restoration Foundation President Linda Helms a letter June 8 telling her that the foundation, which has been in the building for 42 years, should start packing.
