'major' Castle Rock Traffic Delays Expected Because Of Gas Line Break

A gas line break in Castle Rock has closed U.S. 85 and Colorado 86 near the Outlets at Castle Rock on Tuesday morning and officials are warning of long delays. The closures are expected to specifically impact the Interstate 25 ramp at Founder Parkway. The Colorado Department of Transportation is urging motorists to detour around the closures by traveling on Interstate 25, Black Feather Trail or Santa Fe Drive. "This closure will create MAJOR traffic jams in north Castle Rock this morning and drivers should be prepared for extensive delays," CDOT says. Read more on Colorado Springs Gazette
