Julia Curran of Westbrook and Franz-Peter Jerosch of Yarmouth made their national debut as a juvenile pairs team a successful one, winning silver medals at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships Saturday night at the Bloomington Ice Garden in suburban Minneapolis. Curran, 12, and Jerosch, 14, improved by more than five points from their runner-up performance at Eastern Sectionals in November and finished with a score of 40.60 Saturday night.
