SEDGWICK – Maine state police say alcohol was a factor in an early morning crash that sent three people to the hospital – two of them by Lifeflight. Authorities say the car driven by 21-year-old Olivia Perkins, of Penobscot, lost control while traveling from Route 15 to Route 176 in Sedgwick and stuck a flatbed trailer parked in a driveway before vaulting into a tree. Perkins was trapped in the driver’s seat and had to be extricated.
