Maine Pilot Sets World Record For Cross-country Flight

A Maine pilot has set the world record for cross-country flight after flying from Ontario, California to Portland. WCSH-TV reports Damon Meyer, of Saco, left Ontario on Sunday at around 4:30 a.m. PST and landed in Portland at 8:50 p.m. EST. Meyer says he had some modifications done to his plane so it could fly faster.
