Stories Related to Maine Attorney General Sues Individual Anti-abortion Protester For Being Too Loud

The state’s attorney general filed a civil rights lawsuit on Tuesday against an anti-abortion protester who yelled so loudly outside a Portland health care facilty that his voice could be heard inside the downtown building. Attorney General Janet Mills is seeking in the lawsuit filed in Cumberland County Superior Court to have 26-year-old Brian Ingalls of Lisbon banned from coming within 50 feet of Planned Parenthood’s facility at 443 Congress St. The lawsuit accuses Ingalls of violating the Maine Civil Rights Act by yelling so loudly about murdering babies, aborted babies’ blood and Jesus on Oct.
