The ability of county jail inmates to smuggle in contraband by concealing it in their bodies will be severely reduced in a couple of months with the addition of a full-body scanner.The county Board of Commissioners recently approved the purchase of the scanner for $202,000, which includes a five-year warranty and maintenance.
