At 143-years old, the Baumgartner House, built by farmer John Baumgartner on property that included 80 acres in 1856, remains standing today providing a major breath of history to the City of Fraser.Located on the corner of Masonic and Kelly in what was then known as Erin Township, the family successfully farmed the land for decades until Baumgartner's son sold the property on a land contract in 1909.
