A Lumberton school bus driver is blaming fog for an early morning accident on Deer Park Road and Railroad Street. According to a release from Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Stephanie Davis, the driver stopped on Deer Park around 7:20 a.m. today. As he attempted to back up, he missed the roadway and drove into a ditch, striking a utility pole. Three students were on the bus at the time, she said.
