LIMA — Incumbent Jesse Lowe II and challenger Carla Thompson will face off for the Lima 3rd Ward council seat in November. With all precincts reporting in the race, Lowe picked up 55.28 percent of the votes to keep his seat. Thompson earned 28.52 percent of the vote. Third-place finisher Michael Birchfield, who had 16.2 percent of the votes, didn’t make the cut for the November election.
