Quincy's conservation commission will order a third-party review of a proposal from Boston to make $14 million in repairs to the Long Island Bridge. The 62-year-old bridge connects Moon Island to Long Island, which is owned by Boston. Quincy, however, has the only land access to the bridge, so any renovations Boston makes to the structure must be approved by the conservation commission, which voted unanimously to order the study Wednesday night.
