Livermore Falls police are investigating vandalism to about 25 small flags that a resident placed along the bridge spanning the Androscoggin River between Livermore Falls and Livermore. It appears someone snapped the rods holding the decorative flags and either stole them or discarded them, Officer Devon Bohacik said Wednesday. The flags are recycled, having been taken off the graves of veterans in the fall.
