(Logan Lowery/ Daily Journal) Safeties coach Maurice Linguist has left his post at Mississippi State to join P.J. Fleck’s staff at Minnesota as the secondary coach. Linguist lasted just one season in Starkville and is the second defensive coach to depart along with defensive coordinator Peter Sirmon, who left Wednesday to take the same position at Louisville.
