It's been more than three weeks since Chicago received the blow that the city had lost out to Rio de Janeiro as host of the 2016 Olympic Games. But as of Friday afternoon, lingering signs of what might have been still remained on some city streets, such as a pair of Chicago 2016 flags flanking the Michigan Avenue bridge.
