Lights Still Out Tuesday Morning For Nearly 50 Households

A crash cut power to nearly 4,000 customers in an area east of North Academy Boulevard Monday evening, Colorado Springs Utilities reported. The lights went out at about 7:45 p.m., and half an hour later, power had been restored to more than half of the affected customers. "We are aware that your power is out and are working to restore it as soon as possible," the utility said on its website.
