Letter: Trump Is Threat To Security

The president appears to be very concerned about border security, but I think it’s a shiny object meant to distract us. If he were truly concerned about our nation’s borders, he would be looking at our political borders instead. If our politicians are taking money from foreign governments, or receiving help from them in any way on a campaign trail — or worse, employing their help on a campaign trail (Russia if you’re listening … Hillary’s emails …) — then we have no political boundaries and are therefore no longer our own country. I’m more certain that we need the new bridges and roads (providing lots of jobs) than we need to worry about people seeking asylum.
