LETTER: Response to ‘Jury awards 6.8 million to family’

We are writing in response to the front page article “Jury awards 6.8 million to family.” We cannot imagine anything more painful than a death following what should be a routine surgery. Our hearts go out to the woman’s family and friends. As the article states, the cause of her death remains unclear.
