Lawmakers Agree Social Media Needs Regulation, But Say Prompt Federal Action Is Unlikely

Two days of Capitol Hill grilling of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg made it clear the risks posed by social media have become a matter of bipartisan concern, but longtime advocates of reining in the industry fear the current political environment could derail any meaningful legislation.
