Authorities say California Highway Patrol officers shot and wounded a man walking on a downtown Los Angeles highway after he charged at them with a weapon. The California Highway Patrol has closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 110 through downtown Los Angeles following a shooting on the freeway involving a CHP officer. Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman says the shooting occurred shortly after midnight Tuesday near Olympic Boulevard.
