LOS ANGELES (AP) — A large number of police and rescue personnel were responding to a Los Angeles supermarket, amid numerous media reports of possible gunshots. The Los Angeles Police Department tweeted there was an "active incident" at a Trader Joe's in the Silver Lake area. Chris Kline, who has owned the restaurant for the last 12 years, said he has seen a steady stream of hungry patrons coming to the restaurant continuously over the years, oftentimes leading to people waiting longer and longer for a table. “I noticed a lot of times we’d have so many people come in to eat and they’d (be told) ‘oh we have an hour wait’ and (you) see them turn around and walk back out,” he said, later adding “I (thought) ‘what if we could add more seating?’” An expansion project will start Jan.
