One year after ending their season in Des Moines, Iowa, with a first-round loss to Iowa State, the ninth-seeded Yellow Jackets lived to play another day after posting a 76-62 victory over eighth-seeded Iowa in an NCAA tournament first-round game before a crowd of 5,615 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
