Kane To Measure Recidivism Rate For First-time Offenders Given A Break

The Kane County state's atttorney's office will work with Aurora University and another group to measure recidivism of first-time, nonviolent criminals who have gone through the office's diversion program for felonies between 2005 and 2010. "It's just a self-evaluation," Kane County State's Attorney Joe McMahon said in his monthly media meeting Tuesday.
