DC's previous batch of Justice League: Gods and Monsters comics explored the origins of the Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman of this dark alternate universe. This new mini-series focuses on the team as a whole and the events that brought these three heroes together. There's potential in this more long-from prequel, but this first issue is too disjointed and visually bland to really impress. J.M.
