BY TOM ROEDER tom.roeder@gazette.com -Jurors on Thursday has finished deliberating the fate of a former Fort Carson soldier accused of stealing more than $100,000 in military equipment from the post. A verdict has not been announced, but will come Thursday afternoon. Torrence Hall's trial began Monday in a 4th Judicial District courtroom when jurors were introduced to a huge cache of weapons parts, night-vision equipment an other gear that prosecutors say was seized from his Fountain home in 2013. Defense attorney Matt James argued that the government couldn't prove any of the gear was stolen. The trial focused on Army record-keeping and proof that the items were purloined.
