A Milwaukee County jury has begun deliberating the fate of former Milwaukee Police Union president Bradley DeBraska, who is charged with two felonies related to a phony document used in a civil suit between the union and the city. In closing arguments Thursday morning, Assistant District Attorney Kurt Benkley told jurors he was tempted to rest his case before it even began earlier in the week, because DeBraska has admitted to key elements of the crimes of forgery and identity theft.
