DANBURY — A Superior Court judge and attorneys for both sides spent nearly two hours Wednesday reviewing evidence, including video footage prosecutors say illustrates repeated child abuse, as pre-trial proceedings began in the case involving a Danbury nanny. Authorities say the video shows Lidia Quilligana, 32, force-feeding a 3-year-old girl, slapping and knocking her to the ground, jumping on her and pressing her hands and leg against a stove burner. [...] the small second-floor courtroom was filled for nearly three hours as people waited for the case to be called and Judge Dan Shaban to return from chambers after viewing the footage.
