WARREN (AP) — An Ohio judge has approved the use of a drone to capture crime scene images that will be shown to jurors during an upcoming murder trial. The Warren Tribune Chronicle reports Common Pleas Judge Ronald Rice in northeast Ohio’s Trumbull County gave his approval Thursday for using images from a drone at next month’s trial of 48-year-old Nasser Hamad, who is charged with fatally shooting two people and wounding three others in February. Hamad could face the death penalty if convicted. While the drone will provide jurors additional information, they’re also expected to visit the crime scene. The drone is owned by the Sheriff’s Office in neighboring Mahoning County.
