Judge Denies Churches' Emergency Fema Request

A federal judge in Houston has denied emergency relief requests by three Texas churches to apply for relief money to rebuild their sanctuaries in a case that tested the country's foundational boundaries separating church and state.U.S. District Judge Gray H. Miller, who has presided over the case for one week, denied the churches' motion Thursday for a temporary injunction to access Federal Emergency Management Agency funds.
