Judge Declares Mistrial In Stamford Rape Case

Just before lunch on Thursday, the jury sent Judge Richard Comerford out a note saying that it was unable to reach a unanimous verdict on Frazier’s guilt or innocence. According to testimony in the case the woman, who said she had been friends with Frazier for years, accepted an invitation to his home and watched television with him for a few hours while drinking on the night of the incident. After the sexual encounter the woman went to her mother’s home, told her what happened and the police were called. Defense attorney Rob Serafinowicz said, “Obviously I am glad that I picked some people on the jury who took this trial incredibly seriously and saw things from our position.” Because I really truly have the whole story.
