STOCKTON — City Council candidate Sam Fant will stand trial for felony election fraud, a judge ruled late this afternoon.The trial for Fant, 28, will not begin until sometime after next Tuesday’s election. Fant is scheduled for arraignment Nov. 14, six days after the election.Fant is running against Jesús Andrade to represent District 6 in south Stockton.
