Jeb Bush: 'there Are Like 10 Things I Would Change In The Constitution With A Magic Wand'

Unlike fellow Republican presidential contender Donald Trump, however, Jeb Bush knows that isn't so easy to do. In an interview with The Washington Post, Bush pointed out that while it's certainly nice that Trump has a proposal for immigration reform, "a plan needs to be grounded in reality." Part of Trump's newly released six-page plan includes a call for the end of birthright citizenship, which, as Bush points out, would require a change to the Constitution's 14th Amendment. While Bush seems to share Trump's ardor for Constitutional changes, telling the Post "There are like 10 things I would change in the Constitution with a magic wand," he says he understands that's a bit of a pipe dream, since making changes to the Constitution is a lengthy and complicated process.
