Jazz Vespers will perform at 4 p.m. Oct. 15 at First Congressional Church, 21 Church St., Winchester, featuring the first of three fall Jazz Vespers services to be held in the sanctuary.The service, lasting 30-45 minutes, will represent a mix of prayer, poetry, scripture, congregational singing and live jazz. Through these elements, attendees will walk through an ancient service of prayer in an informal and meditative way.
