Coach Jason Garrett said he received texts after Monday night's win at Arizona about the way the Cowboys executed their pre-game demonstration of unity and equality."For the most part there was a favorable response," Garrett said. The Cowboys showed solidarity without disparaging the national anthem or the American Flag to publicly oppose President Donald Trump's criticism of NFL protests.Players, coaches and executives, including Garrett and owner Jerry Jones, came onto the field before the anthem and stood arm-in-arm before taking a knee. The Cowboys then went to the sideline and again locked arms for the anthem. The Cowboys met multiple times over the weekend to formulate the plan.
