James Cameron may direct The Informationist after the two Avatar sequels for Fox, Deadline has learned. The movie is an adaptation of Taylor Stevens' 2011 novel of the same name which centers on an information broker named Vanessa Michael Munroe who is hired by a Texas oil tycoon to find her missing daughter in Africa.
