Jacksonville police arrested a man following the abduction at gunpoint of a mother and her 1-year-old child late Saturday that ended when he crashed the woman’s car on railroad tracks as police chased him on the Westside. The 20-year-old woman and child appeared uninjured but were taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center for evaluation, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. read more
