This is a story about the future, and the future can be scary.” A young woman interrupts from off-camera: “Try to be a little more upbeat.” It’s hard to imagine a more accurate advertisement for the movie to come—a perfect proxy for the essential question posed by the blockbusters residing at the multiplex this weekend: How do you like your apocalypse?
