IOWA CITY — It was fitting that Iowa Republicans’ “Dream Team” of candidates made a stop at Hamburg Inn No. 2 in downtown Iowa City as part of the kickoff to 40 days of voting in the 2014 gubernatorial and midterm election, Gov. Terry Branstad said.“You know, it’s kind of indicative of what’s going on in Iowa City,” he said referring to the way the community has rebuilt and recovered from the flooding in 2008 that damaged numerous homes and buildings around the community.
