Hospitalizations for COVID-19 in Iowa dropped below 300 for the first time since September, according to data from the state health department on Wednesday. The state added 1,035 new COVID-19 cases and 29 new, confirmed deaths Wednesday. The new numbers bring Iowa’s totals to 326,417 positives COVID-19 cases and 5,174 deaths, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.
