IOWA CITY — Residents in Iowa City will get a free ride to the polls on city buses during Election Day.Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6. and rides will be free all day. No proof voter registration or destination is required to ride free, according to a media release from Iowa City.“Our goal is to remove transportation as a barrier, and help people get to the polls and exercise their right to vote,” said Darian Nagle-Gamm, Transportation Services director in the release.
