Jane Hagedorn is an Iowa City master plumber. Her grandfather was a plumber, as was her father and brother. She has nephews and great-nephews who are plumbers, too, but her foray into the profession wasn’t a straight path following in her relatives’ footsteps.She forged her own path.Hagedorn received her bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in 1972, followed by a master’s degree in physical education from the University of Iowa in 1974.
