The Illinois State Police released a video with redacted audio that shows the traffic stop that led to State Rep. Steve Reick's driving under the influence of alcohol arrest on May 2. During the incident, Reick mentioned he was a state representative multiple times, commented on the amount of paperwork involved in the arrest and the fact that he was handcuffed, and said he wasn't sure what Illinois' legal blood-alcohol limit was. Reick serves Illinois’ 63rd House District, which covers the western portion of McHenry County, including Woodstock, Marengo, Hebron, Harvard and part of McHenry. He was arrested at 12:06 a.m.
