A film about a legendary mountain climber renowned for his athleticism, grace and creativity in the 1970s and ’80s, is set to be screened Thursday at Colorado State University-Pueblo. Jeff Lowe’s film “Metanoia” is about one man’s journey from the top of the world to the end of the line. Those who know Lowe say he helped make climbing what it is today, through technical innovation and more than a thousand first ascents, including “Metanoia” on the north face of the Eiger, where he experienced a spiritual transformation that continues to this day.
