Human remains were found Thursday at 1838 High Point Circle after the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office got a tip that someone had been killed there. Sheriff’s spokesman Doug Barfield said investigators recovered the remains at mid-afternoon on the property, off S.C. 200 just south of Airport Road, but the victim has yet to be identified. Sheriff Barry Faile indicated a suspect was being held, but he provided no further details.
