CEDAR RAPIDS — The team leading the effort to “ReLeaf” the community after last summer’s derecho downed most of the city’s tree canopy has created a website to collect citizens’ ideas about reviving the lost urban forest. The website — confluence.mysocialpinpoint.com/releaf-cedar-rapids — is one way the ReLeaf initiative is gathering public input for the long-term, multimillion-dollar, public-private partnership to replenish the trees lost in the Aug.
