Hotel Settles Drowning Lawsuit

Moore's estate filed suit in June 2015 against the Euclid Avenue hotel and its parent company, Columbus-based Choice Hotels International Services Corp.According to the suit, Moore died because of insufficient water clarity, which gave a false appearance of shallow depth.Choice Hotels lawyers claimed Moore's own conduct is at least partially to blame for his death because there are "inherent dangers" with a built-in swimming pool.
