Satisfactory has been out in some form or another for nearly five years, and 1.0 was released in September 2024. During this time, players have designed and built some formidable factories, from Gothic mansions to goliath factories built over thousands of hours. If you can imagine it, someone’s probably already built it in Satisfactory.
Catslap (SLAP) is seeing a big surge, with an 80% increase today pushing the token to $0.0059, driven by a whale investment.
The increase in whale activity shows the excitement around the project. The growing hype has caught the attention of the crypto community, with more people joining in to invest in Catslap.
Catslap aims to surpass the dogs, frogs, and possibly even other cats as it climbs to the top.
The Factory-sim game Satisfactory is getting a major limited-time Christmas-themed event, starting December 1st, 2024. This has been a recurring event in the past, and Ficsmas seems bigger than ever now that it’s no longer in early access. In 2023, there was no holiday-themed event, so long-time players will surely be looking forward to the return of Ficsmas.
We cover a lot of AI and robot-related stories here at Readwrite and it’s probably not going to be an overly long time until we are reporting on the start of the last Great War, man vs machine where we get to see if our existing tanks are any match for a fleet of Terminator driven Cybertrucks.
At the moment though, while we patiently wait, we are going to get the opportunity to play out that scenario courtesy of the upcoming Heart of the Machine, the new game from Arcen Games and our favorite publisher right now, Hooded Horse.
Hooded Horse has brought about some of my personal favorite games of the last couple of years and that makes me excited for this one.
It’s nearly time for us to jump into the self-styled “coziest open world game” ever, Infinity Nikki.
Whether you have managed to get the theme tune out of your head yeti from the last time we wrote about the game, there is no escaping that Infinity Nikki will be arriving on PlayStations, PCs, and mobile devices in just two days time.
If you want to avoid some of the last-minute download drama however, servers gonna serve after all, then you can jump on board and get all the files you need in advance with the pre-load that has just started.
Path of Exile 2 early access is upon us, providing a bunch of content to sink your teeth into before the game enters its full 1.0 release.
Usually with games in early access, there’s a very limited amount of gameplay available, giving you a small bite of the apple so to speak.
With Path of Exile 2, things have been done a little differently and here, we’ll reveal how long you can expect to be playing early access for within the allotted period, before the official launch date.
Path of Exile 2 early access length explained
If you’ve netted yourself a Path of Exile 2 Early Access Key and are raring to go, how much actual gameplay can you get through?
Well, you’ll be able to make your way through three campaign acts which is extremely generous for early access.
Moreover, there are six different classes you can choose from, enabling you to get a feel for a bunch of abilities, shaping your build.
There will be no character wipes too, allowing you to keep any progress you’ve made, perfect for those of you out there with limited windows to play.
For how long it’ll take you to make it through the aforementioned campaign acts, you’re looking at approximately 25-35 hours depending on how adept you are.
Completing these acts won’t get you to max level though and you’ll need to play these again if you’re hoping to reach those lofty heights.
There’s the endgame grind too, so don’t think you’re finished, providing hundreds of hours of possible gameplay if you’re up for it.
As for how much time you’ll have to rattle through all of the early access content, the developers have stated that this period will be at least six months.
While this is somewhat vague, at least you know that you’re not confined to a short, couple of weeks type scenario, cramming in whatever you can before the timer expires.
